Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way back to your farm for a whole lot of new Stardew Valley content inbound, according to a recent tweet from the game’s creator, Eric Barone. This extra goodness should be arriving alongside the eagerly awaited multiplayer component, set for release sometime in 2018.
I could paraphrase and embroider on what Barone revealed in his tweet, but then I would really just be wasting your time and my own, and it’s almost Christmas, people have things to do. So, here’s that tweet then!
some things I've added for the new content update:
*new "town event" in winter
*new type of collection that you can start in your first winter
*Signs (can display any item on them)
*More outdoor decorations (some change w/ season)
*More NPC "events"
*A way to re-spec professions

I love Stardew Valley with all my heart, but I’ll admit that once you’re a few seasons in, the idea of some fresh single-player content starts to sound really appealing. This, along with the previously mentioned multiplayer, should be enough to keep ConcernedApe’s loyal followers satisfied… until we start demanding a Stardew Valley 2.
