Have a look at Fallout 3 remade in Fallout 4 before Bethesda inevitably shuts it down

Besides the obligatory nudies and wall hacks, it’s kind of the rules that modders attempt to remake previous games in a series using a new game’s mod tools before the publisher decides that’s not going to happen and issues a cease and desist notice with a perfunctory corporate excuse about this or that, but usually not before the project has already managed to get some publicity. And so it is, and so it has been, and so it shall be forever more. And so, introducing Capital Wasteland, an ambitious remake of Fallout 3 built in Fallout 4’s Creation Engine that’s probably going to be unironically nuked by the end of the week.
Developed by modder-fan collective Road to Liberty, Capital Wasteland is a Fallout 4 total conversion mod including “quests, dialogue, and all locations” from Fallout 3, now almost 10 years since it launched (and red-ringed my Xbox 360). And it looks rad. “Rad”. You know, like radioactive. I tell the same joke every time.
The team has also recently added some new screenshots on Twitter, featuring some distinctively green filters, although according to the mod’s official FAQ, the original game’s actual green filter won’t be reproduced. This is, um, a different, new green filter.
