The best vampire movie ever is being adapted into a TV show

Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s cult-popular suck-’em-up What We Do in the Shadows has been signed by US network FX, with a pilot episode (and a bowl of bisgetti) already on order.
First screened in 2014, the original film features the comically mundane existence of several vampire flat-mates in Wellington, New Zealand, and their mostly incompetent attempts to integrate with modern society.
The TV version will keep Waititi as director and Clement as writer and both as executive producers, but it’s not been confirmed if they’ll also star next to new cast Kayvan Novak (Danger Mouse, Thunderbirds Are Go), Matt Berry (Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh), Harvey Guillen (The Thundermans, The Internship), and standup comedian Natasia Demetriou.
