You get free in-game cash, you get free in-game cash, everybody gets free in-game cash!

… If you’re on Xbox One, and you buy PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds before 10:00 local time on 31 January, anyway. The free in-game cash – a pimpin’ sum of 30,000 Battle Points, paid out on 1 February – is a good job, everybody present for the game’s console sales breaching four million (!) since it launched in December.

Loot boxes in PUBG get more expensive the more you buy in a week, up to a maximum of six boxes per week. So you can blow your Battle Points on nine boxes over two weeks, or 42 boxes over 42 weeks. Does it even matter? You know you’re going to get brown school shoes in every single one. It’s the rules.
