Ubisoft is working on a new game plus option for Assassin’s Creed Origins

Ubisoft has announced that a new game plus option is in development for Assassin’s Creed Origins, adding even more things to do to an already sprawling game. You know, Ubimaps, it’s a thing – icons for diversions and distractions everywhere, and every time you climb a building there are more things added and by the end there are more side mission icons than actual map real estate visible. At least with AC Origins it’s more killer than filler.

A new game plus mode is something people have been asking for, apparently, and the clever chaps who do all the brain work to make things like this happen have been toying around with the idea for a while. A post on the official Assassin’s Creed reddit has now confirmed that it is definitely on it’s way. “New Game + is coming,” said community manager domvgt. “We’ll have more information to share soon.”

These things usually mean more missions or new modes and so on, but we’ll have to wait and see exactly what Ubisoft brings to the table. In the meantime, you just work on that main game, its side quests, its side quest’s side quests, its DLC, and the rest. Get cracking.
