Call of Duty’s legendary Soap and Ghost will soon be immortalized in plastic by McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toys will be debuting two new Call of Duty figurines at the New York Toy Fair. And look who it is – it’s John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley, probably the only two chaps I would allow to take my sister out to dinner (although not at the same time). Them and Marcus Fenix. And then maybe Duke Nukem, because, well, a woman has needs.

Going by the photos posted by Toy Chest News recently, McFarlane has done a neat job of recreating Soap and Ghost, although I’m not entirely sold on MacTavish’s facial modelling. Still, in my neck of the woods these guys are absolute legends, and we’ve been through a lot together, Soap, Ghost, and I. Remember that one time the Humvee crashed through the barricade and we leapt out and grabbed the railing on that helicopter, and then the dirty bomb went off and that cool song played in the background? Good times, good times.

There has been no indication of when McFarlane Toys will have these new Call of Duty figurines ready for retail, but we can expect that information to be revealed over the coming days at the New York Toy Fair.
