In what must be the best ever PS Plus lineup, ever-ever, subscribers will be getting the PS4-exclusive creepy Gothic horror-’em-up Bloodborne and zany platform shooty-puzzler Ratchet & Clank in March, almost making up for the free copy of Knack that nobody wanted last month.

Developed by Dark Souls studio FromSoftware, Bloodborne features the same bastard-hard difficulty as its predecessors but swaps the medieval fantasy vibes for a crumbling Victorian world crammed with gargoyles, murderous crows, and unseen terrors. You can even play it on a dance mat, but you probably shouldn’t.

Ratchet & Clank is the 2016 reboot of the series, and includes hoverboards. Do you even need to know more? That’s what I thought.

The complete list of PS Plus games in March includes:

PS4

  • Bloodborne
  • Ratchet & Clank

PS3

  • Legend of Kay
  • Mighty No. 9

PS Vita

  • Claire: Extended Cut
  • Bombing Busters

In somewhat less exciting news, Sony has also announced that from March 2019, PS Plus will drop PS3 and PS Vita games from the monthly freebies, although I suppose this was kind of inevitable. Subscribers will still have access to any promotional PS3 and PS Vita games previously downloaded, but you were never going to play Frogger again anyway, and you know it.
