Walk like an Egyptian with the Assassin’s Creed Origins Animus Control Panel

Actually, I can’t find a “Walk like an Egyptian” parameter in the Animus Control Panel, but maybe that’s coming in an update and besides, I just wanted to get that song stuck in your head. HA HA HA, THE REAL PHAROAH’S CURSE. Anyway.

Ubisoft is dropping a new Animus Control Panel for Assassin’s Creed Origins, featuring a selection of 75 thingies to mess with like movement speed, NPC stress levels, and even the max number of tamed furbeasts you can have. Three pet hyenas? You got it. Five pet cats? I want to make a crazy cat lady joke, but five pet cats isn’t even that many, and cats were totally sacred to the Ancient Egyptians so it’s probably, like, blasphemous or something. Ten pet chickens? I assume you still can’t have pet chickens, and chickens don’t have fur so it’s a trick question.

For the moment, the Animus Control Panel is confirmed only for the PC version of the game, according to Ubisoft, and expected to launch sometime this month.

Okay, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands doesn’t actually need a 100GB SSD, but it’s better if you’ve got one
