But this one is different, okay, because it’s like totally tubular ’80s, dude, and super bodacious, and not even an obvious cash-in on PUBG’s hype because LawBreakers bombed because of PUBG’s hype because that would be grody to the max, no duh.
Anyway, Boss Key’s new game is Radical Heights, a free-to-play battle royale with a zany neon retro-futuristic game show aesthetic, BMX bikes, trampolines, and although I don’t actually see them in any of the screenshots, I must assume it has legwarmers or it’s not ’80s. THOSE ARE THE RULES.
According to the press stuff, “cash is king” in Radical Heights, and players keep in-game munnies to blow on stuff in subsequent matches.
“Play matches, collect cash, kill contestants, interact with game show elements and more to buy cosmetics from your personal prize room, or put some of that sweet cash in your bank to help buy a weapon next match quicker than your opponents,” the dev explains. “The choice is yours.”
It’s out sometime today on Steam Early Access.
