Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Xbox One X is the most beautiful game I’ve ever played
Tarryn van der Byl·
Besides its uniquely creepy binaural audio, Hellblade’s desolate shores and brooding skies make it one of this generation’s most mesmerising games. How did Ninja Theory’s 20-something development team manage to create such an extraordinary experience on an indie budget, and in a comparatively short three years? I dunno, but let’s gawk at some pretties.
I’ve resized these to 1920 x 1080 because it turns out 4K images are, like, enormous, but if you want to revel in Hellblade’s max UHD majesty, the original screenshots (and more!) are here.
