This Week In Gaming [Video Roundup]

Greetings NAGolizies, and thanks for coming back for This Week In Gaming. I’ve been away all weekend in the arse-end of Mpumalanga, but I raced back just in time to give you your abbreviated dose of news from the week. So if you’re catching up on Monday morning, hello, and I hope you took the day off.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider got a new cinematic trailer, this one titled The End of the Beginning. Cryptic (not really).

A mod eight years in the making has gone into public beta – Warcraft: Total War, which aims to bring the Warcraft universe to Total War. It’s pretty insane, and if it sounds like your thing, installation instructions are below.

Nintendo is big into smartphone games now, and their new fantasy RPG Dragalia Lost looks like it has the full weight of the publisher behind it. It also looks like something I’ll absolutely hate, lol.

For something a little more not-Japanese, check out Basingstoke, a new stealth roguelike with a cutesy style.

Trailblazers is a pretty unique co-op racer, and this second gameplay trailer gives a fuller picture of how it’s gonna play.

Cities: Skylines’ continues to be the game SimCity wasn’t, and they’re showing off their latest DLC in this new trailer.

Strange Brigade is a co-op shooter with a 1930s aesthetic. It looks promising, and developer Rebellion have just announced a launch date of August 28th. Have a look.

Now for something a little different – a 2D sandbox RPG called It Lurks Below. Why should you care? Well it’s the passion project of David Brevik – the dude who created freaking Diablo.

Finally, the Switch continues to rack up impressive 3rd party games in its lineup, with Bethesda announcing it’ll be bringing Wolfenstein 2 to the console on June 29th.
