Those interested in taking part in the technical beta can head over here to sign up, where you’ll be asked to complete a survey asking about your technical beta experience, computer savvy, and the like. You’ll also need to run a diagnostic test so the tech people can have a quick peek inside your computer. The beta is open to anyone over the age of 18, and, as you would expect, there’s one of those a non-disclosure agreement things about not posting photos of State of Decay 2 on your mom’s Facebook page and so on.
Nothing takes the wind out of a new game’s sails like connectivity issues and crippling bugs, so it’s probably for the best that they run this one through the gauntlet once or twice before release day on 22 May.
