Divinity: Original Sin. It’s the smart man’s Diablo, innit? Actually, I wouldn’t know – I’ve only just bought it, literally three minutes ago, as it’s currently discounted on the Xbox Live Marketplace. But from what I’ve heard, when it comes to RPGs, it’s the bee’s balls. People with actual full beards told me that, so I’ll take it as gospel. ANYWAY, the sequel is surely even MORE bee’s ballsier, and it’s coming to consoles later this year. BUT…

Ha! Welcome to the body of the article. To be honest, there isn’t all that much I need to tell you, but I’ll tell you this:
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 in August. Pre-order it and you’ll get early access to the first chapter of the thing. And we’re talking about a proper, serious, hardcore RPG, so that first chapter alone is around 20 hours. And that’s still not the thing!
This is the thing: Xbox One owners will be able to play three full hours of Divinity: Original Sin 2 for free, from 16 May. That’s mere days away. It’s coming to Game Preview on Xbox One and it’s going to be free and awesome and be packed to the fluffing rafters with naughty spells, crafty wizards, and evil quasi-religious types. Probably. My Divinity: Original Sin download is only 760MB in, so I have not a clue what it’s all about.
It’s also just occurred to me that my headline just about told you all you need to know. But thanks for reading.
