With Rush 2018’s weekend of thrilling esports festivities just around the corner, MSI Gaming and Evetech have teamed up to deliver a pair of tournaments that you’re not going to want to miss – especially if you’re a fan of fast-paced first-person shooters and high-energy fighting games.

32 players will be duking it out for glory in Quake Champions, id Software’s latest entry in the much-loved Quake franchise. Players will clash in frantic 1v1 duels until a victor is eventually crowned. The top Quake Champions players can look forward to the following prizes:

First place: MSI gaming notebook with i7 and GTX 1060

Second place: MSI GK70 mechanical gaming keyboard

Then, fans of fighting games and/or Dragon Ball Z will be pleased to know that MSI Gaming and Evetech will be hosting a Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament, in which 32 players will battle it out in 1v1 brawls until a winner emerges.

The prizes for the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament are as follows:

First place: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card

Second place: MSI Force GC30 Wireless Gaming Controller

Rush 2018 is taking place from 29 June to 1 July at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. Day passes are R60 and weekend passes are R100.
