The studio has confirmed that an eclectic “distinguished trio” of its vintage singles will be available on Xbox One next week, including its freshly ground gangsters sim Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, mob street racer Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and unconventional sports-’em-up Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis.

Via the razzle-dazzle technomancy of backwards compatibility, the three games will be out on Xbox One on Thursday, 7 June, with both the original Xbox and Xbox 360 versions of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas supported.

“Save games from the original Xbox version will not transfer, however owners of that version will get the upgraded Xbox 360 version of the game,¬†featuring higher¬†resolution, enhanced draw distances, and Achievements,” the company explains in the press stuff.

Those of you who already own digital copies of the games on your Xbox Live account will have instant access to download them to Xbox One, but disc copies work too. And if you missed out the first time, you can also purchase them on the Xbox Store.
