Does it bleed? Can we kill it? Is that its real hair, or some kind of techno space weave? The intergalactic fashionista has debuted his makeover for the internet glossies, and omg, it’s so fierce.
Talking to Empire, movie director and writer Shane Black explains that the intimidating new wardrobe is part of the series’ bad guy renovation as a genetically-modified, super-bad guy in his upcoming reboot, The Predator.
“The challenge became to make it frightening, ’cause upon that hinged everything — whether you bought our heroes going up against him and felt a real threat for them. We had to invent a scenario in which the Predators were mysterious and scary again.”
Mysterious and scary and not awkwardly reminiscent of Dark Helmet in Spaceballs, you mean? Totally. And I’m sorry, because you won’t unsee that, ever.
