The Fallout 76 beta bomb drops in October

As expected, Bethesda’s dog meat dealership sim Fallout 76 will be hosting its very own a Break it Early Test Application (a beta, mom) the month before it’s out, the studio has now confirmed.

According to this post on the company’s forums, access to the beta B.E.T.A. is limited to pre-order customers, with Xbox One players first to exit the Vault. Those people who pre-order from unspecified “participating retailers” will have to redeem and register a code via a valid account, the FAQ explains, but digital purchases on Xbox, PS4, and PC will be auto-enrolled for the programme. Exact dates and times are not available for the moment, but will be confirmed on Bethesda’s social media channels.

Obligatory joke about the public beta starting on 14 November when the game launches, lol.
