Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s new DLC introduces Grandfather Nurgle and his “unpleasant attentions”

Fatshark has unleashed Shadows over Bögenhafen, the first expansion for its extravagantly grotesque Warhammer co-op-’em-up, featuring new things to kill and new places to visit and kill those things and some of the things Grandmother Nurgle told you about but you didn’t want to listen.
The DLC adds two new levels in Bögenhafen – but you probably guessed that already – a merchant city “where the heroes will be tested like never before by Grandfather Nurgle’s unpleasant attentions”, according to the press stuff. If you missed that class, Grandfather Nurgle is one of the four Chaos gods, the purveyor of perfidy and putrescence, the Lord of Decay aka The Plague Lord aka The Lord of Pestilence, and you get the general idea. New cosmetics and Okri’s Challenges are also included, next to an extensive game update that fixes and optimises lots of stuff.
Shadows of Bögenhafen is out now on PC, with a subsequent launch on Xbox One expected next month.
