Actually, no. We’re better than that.

So, back to business. FIFA 19, a soccer game about soccer and devious loot box gambling, is coming out later this year, and EA has decided to give us all a quick go to whet our collective appetites.

The focus of the demo is a run out onto the field of dreams for a UEFA Champions League match. EA chose the Champions League for the demo because the Champions League is probably the most prestigious club football tournament in the world. EA did not choose the Champions League for the demo purely to rub salt into the wounds of Konami and all Pro Evolution Soccer fans still crying because Konami ran out of dollars to hold onto the UEFA Champions League licence. Surely not.

You’ll get 10 teams to muck around with. Lets have a quick look, shall we?

  • Manchester City
  • Manchester United
  • PSG
  • Bayern Munich
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • Spurs
  • Juventus
  • Real Madrid
  • Atletico Madrid
  • Roma

You’ll be able to try out the four key gameplay innovations coming to FIFA 19 and get to grips with it all in preparation for launch day. The demo is out now on¬†PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while the full package gets its balls out on 28 September.
