DICE’s version of the trendy thing that the kids are doing now won’t be included when the game drops next month, the studio has confirmed, instead coming only in March 2019 and accompanied by a new Greece map. According to the game’s post-launch “live services” schedule, Firestorm will be preceded by the Overture update from December until January, and Lightning Strikes Combined Arms co-op events from January until March.
“Firestorm elevates the mode by bringing in the best of what Battlefield is known for,” DICE explains. “Mix a shrinking playing field with trademark Battlefield elements such as team play, powerful vehicles, and destruction, and you get many unique Battlefield moments coming your way.”
Battlefield V is out on 20 November on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
