Obviously our readers are hardened gamers with WASD tattooed on the knuckles, and chronic carpal tunnel syndrome from game controllers loaded with violent vibration motors, but I’m sure there are a few of you out there who are interested in things like Team Sonic Racing. If that’s you, I’ve got sour news… it’s been pushed beyond its original release date and well into 2019.
Hey guys! To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we’re giving the team extra time to work on it. Our new release date is May 21, 2019.
We know delays are no fun, but quality matters most. Thanks for your patience – we’ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!

Originally slated for release sometime during the 2018 holiday season, developer Sumo Digital will be working on the game a while longer, shifting release to 21 May 2019. Sumo Digital is the same team which gave us the surprisingly impressive Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, so we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that this extra time will be put to good use. The Mario Kart-esque racer is looking quite nifty, if you’re into that sort of thing. Here, have a look.
