And Obsidian’s new game is…

It’s a retro sci-fi RPG set in the galactic colonies of a megacorp-controlled dystopian universe, and now the laser guns and skincare products thing makes total sense.

Coming from the Fallout: New Vegas studio with original Fallout developers Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky on the credits list, its not exactly subtle resemblance to the series isn’t entirely unexpected. It’s more or less Fallout: But This Time in Space, with a vintage pulp paperback aesthetic, a must-have-T-shirt logo, and Iggy Pop’s iconic 1977 punk anthem The Passenger. Yes, please.

La-la, la-la, la-la-la-la! La-la, la-la, la-la-la-la! La-la, la-la, la-la-la-la!

Now it’s stuck in your brain too.

Game’s out on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime in 2019.
