If you’re not tired of zombies yet, try these Korean ones on Netflix

We’ve seen them on trains, in planes, and surrounding automobiles; zombies have pretty much been everywhere and done everything we could possibly think of. One might say that the market is saturated with the blood of the unobservant and slow to react. And, still, I suggest you have a look at the new South Korean series coming soon to Netflix.

Kingdom has everything you could possibly want: suspense, intrigue, zombies, and it appears to be set in feudal Korea. I’m not sure what else you need to get excited about this, really. Written by Kim Eun-hee and directed by Kim Seong-hun, the first season will have 12 episodes and promises to be both violent and exciting, according to Netflix.

“The deceased king rises and a mysterious plague begins to spread. The prince must face a new breed of enemies to unveil the evil and save his people.” See? Intriguing.

Kingdom comes to Netflix 25 January 2019.

If you can’t wait for this, and you’re in need of some Korean-flavoured zombie goodness, might I suggest Train to Busan to tide you over?
