Banderstats revealed and suddenly we’re all craving Frosties

Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn’t watched Bandersnatch yet (??). The Netflix Twitter accounts have been releasing a few viewer stats so we finally have some quality market research on the world’s cereal preferences. How do your choices match up?

A key part of the Bandersnatch experience is wondering what everyone else chose to do. As is badgering your friends to watch it so you can judge their decisions and bond over the things you did the same, but secretly die a little inside when you realise your choices were neither unique nor special. Was that just me? Well, wonder no more, a few not-particularly-exciting stats have been revealed:

  • 60% of us chose Frosties
  • 52.9% of British viewers chose to throw the tea compared with 55.9% of the rest of the world
  • 73% of us initially chose to accept the job at Tuckersoft

For the record, I chose Frosties, I didn’t throw tea, and I accepted the job at Tuckersoft. I just want to know how many of you went through the meta Netflix story loop, because that amused me more than it probably should have. Hopefully, we’ll see a few more of these viewer insights in the future.
