Ubisoft has opened its recruiting program for prospective Division agents to volunteer for the sequel’s private beta, scheduled for 7-11 February. Access is guaranteed for pre-orders – because, you know, it’s Ubisoft – but you can add your name to the list without one. Maybe you’ll get in, maybe you won’t, and maybe everybody will be wiped out by a smallpox epidemic before it even starts. What? It could totally happen. I know, because it was in some game, and besides, with more and more stupid people not vaccinating their kids, it’s inevitable anyway.
The beta includes two of the campaign’s main missions and five side missions, plus three Dark Zone locations and the game’s competitive Skirmish mode. From Friday, one Invaded mission will also be available, featuring some of the The Division 2’s high-level, endgame content and class specialisations.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is out on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on 15 March.
