Gears 5 is “looking great”, promises Xbox boss

It’s kind of hard to tell from this photo, but I’m guessing Phil Spencer got to see more of the game during his visit to The Coalition’s Vancouver office than some screens with… is that a Raven helicopter? I think it’s a Raven. Also, clouds. A Raven and clouds.

Announced at E3 2018 with a cinematic trailer introducing Gears of War 4’s Kait Diaz as the next sequel’s protagonist, Gears of War 5 has mostly kept out of the news since. So this isn’t much, but on top of not much else, it’s… something. And now we know that whatever Gears 5 is about, it probably includes a Raven and clouds.  Get hype.
