Halo Reach is coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC

Microsoft and 343 Industries announced the double-deal last night, confirming that the the series’ BEST EVER GAME DON’T EVEN @ ME is being added to the compilation, and the entire compilation is launching on PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

The Master Chief Collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4, and is sold on Xbox for the stupid cheap price of one game. For those of you who already own it, Halo Reach’s Forge, Theater, and multiplayer content will be available for free, but the campaign and Firefight mode will be a sold-separately add-on – or, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you’ll get those things free (kind of) too. Halo Reach on Xbox One X will also support 4K, HDR, and 60fps.

No release date is scheduled for the moment, but each game will drop in chronological sequence on PC sometime in 2019, preceded by Halo Reach.
