Netflix cancels Santa Clarita Diet and I’m mad enough to eat nazis

Just weeks after the show’s third season debuted, Netflix has decided to drop the show because I dunno, maybe the world isn’t ready to watch Drew Barrymore eat more nazis or something, but five seasons of Fuller House is okay.
The unconventional sitcom about a suburban mom and real estate agent who becomes a zombie and her queasy but accommodating husband is one of the network’s most avant-garde shows, featuring gross-out jokes and gratuitous violence between some thought-provoking political and cultural commentary, existential questions, and lots of vomit. And unlike a lot of other Netflix Originals, Santa Clarita Diet has been consistently funny, with its third season dialling up the show’s preposterous premise to unprecedented absurdity. And it ends with so much unresolved.
