Debuted at the next@acer press conference this month, the Taiwanese hardware corp has now confirmed that its incoming Predator Helios 300, Nitro 7, Nitro 5, and Aspire 7 notebooks will ship out with Nvidia’s new GeForce GTX 16-series GPUs to boost those pixels to the max. And for those of you saving up for a new work notebook instead, meet the TravelMate P6.
Besides 9th Gen Intel Core i7 CPUs, the Predator Helios 300, Nitro 7, and Nitro 5 models now also feature a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU, while the Aspire 7 includes a GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.
“Acer is excited to be among the first-to-market with the GeForce GTX 16-series GPUs,” says Acer’s James Lin. “Gamers, prosumers, and content creators will be able to take advantage of the breakthrough graphics performance the next-gen GeForce GPUs bring.”
This week, the company also revealed its TravelMate P6 series Windows 10 notebook, with a military-grade magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis, Intel Core i7 CPU, 14″ full HD IPS display, up to 24 GB RAM, and about 20 hours of battery time to keep you going on those tedious transcontinental flights. It’s expected to be available locally in September, with a pricetag of R15,999.
