Blair Witch

There’s a Blair Witch video game in the works and no one is safe

During the Xbox E3 conference, a trailer revealed that a Blair Witch video game will launch soon for Xbox and PC. The game was developed by Bloober Team, the same studio that brought you Layers Of Fear, and I’m not scared, you are.

The game’s story and setting take inspiration from the original 1999 Blair Witch Project movie that terrified cinema patrons across the globe, with a new story set two years after the events of the film. The trailer is cryptic and ominous, but from what we can tell, the game features a lone cop accompanied by his lovable doggo Bullet as they go on a search for a missing boy in the woods. However, unbeknownst to the unlucky dynamic duo, they’re not as alone in there as they may think – let’s agree and hope that at least the doggo makes it out alive by the end of the game.

The Blair Witch will start haunting Xbox One and PC users on 30 August this year, so get excited (I guess?). This trailer is guaranteed to give you all sorts of goosebumps and isn’t for the faint of heart.
