It looks like Paramount Pictures and Blumhouse are teaming up to create the seventh Paranormal Activity movie, and not one of us is ready. One word – nope, nope, just nope.
During Paramount’s CineEurope presentation in Barcelona on Wednesday, chief Jim Gianopulos announced that the two studios would be working on the movie. Unfortunately, he hasn’t revealed any plot details, so we’re entirely in the dark on this one – which, quite frankly, is a terrifying thought. The last time moviegoers experienced the horror of the franchise was with the release of 2015’s Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension.
The Paranormal Activity franchise started up in 2007 and has since then made $890 million worldwide. The overall quality of some of the movies has caused some mixed emotions in some moviegoers, but Paranormal Activity has established itself as a famous horror movie franchise.
No release date for the movie yet, but hopefully we’ll hear more about it soon. It’s been quite a while since we got a Paranormal Activity movie, so horror fans are bound to be excited.
