Dr Disrespect is back on Twitch because consequences don’t apply to celebrities

The streaming platform has apparently cancelled Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm’s ban for livestreaming from a public toilet at E3, his Twitch channel is now online again, and the lesson for kids is that you can do whatever you want because so-what-lol if you’ve got over three million subscribers.

On 11 June, Beahm was booted out of the expo and his access revoked for violating California’s local privacy laws, and his Twitch channel was subsequently inaccessible until this week. Twitch has not explained why the ban was reversed, presumably because “b-b-but $$$” is an awkward excuse.

In the meantime, however, Twitch is suing 100 of its users for streaming porn and other no-no content over a recent holiday weekend because that’s different.
