Goat Of Duty

Sharpen your hooves and go to war in Goat of Duty

34BigThings’ new game Goat of Duty has finally gone into Early Access on Steam, with a limited promo price of R49.30 until 17 July, after which it will cost R58. What is it with game developers’ obsession with goats anyway? The whole needlessly violent goats trend is still pretty hilarious, though.

As you’d expect, Goat of Duty is a Call of Duty parody featuring armoured goats, because what else do you think goats do in their spare time anyway? The game’s trailer gets pretty dark but makes up for it by promising players over-the-top weapons, goatnados, and more than 250 different bleats which we can only assume are battle cries to strike fear in the hearts of their enemies. The game will feature some customisation, and each match will take up to 10 players at a time. Currently, there are four modes available, including Gun Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Herd Wars, and Fus Ro Arena.

As for why the goats are going to war, who knows? Not even the devs know. You’re a goat with a gun, and that’s all the relevant info you’re going to get. It’s an all-out battle to find out who truly is the GOAT (greatest of all time). Play the game, join the herd and become a total baaadass.
