Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is out nooohhhrrrnnnggghhhw

PopCap has opened up the garden gate for early access to its new botany-‘n’-braaaaains apocalypse sim, with the launch of the game’s Founder’s Edition on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Available from now until 30 September, this preview version of the game features six weeks of new content releases, according to publisher EA, and the opportunity to become a Founding Neighbor and get some exclusive swag.

“Keep in mind, PvZ: Battle for Neighborville’s modes and features are already final. By giving our biggest fans a chance to come in now, we’ll be polishing performance as you play to ensure our scaled experience is running at peak levels for launch and beyond, making the PvZ: Battle for Neighborville experience the best it can be.”

Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville introduces new multiplayer modes, PVE zones, and special events to the (criminally under-appreciated) franchise, and supports split-screen co-op on console.

Progress from the Founder’s Edition will roll over when the standard version of game drops on 18 October.
