Move over, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, it’s time to let the experts deal with this whole dinosaurs-taking-over-the-world situation as Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum are set to reprise their iconic roles in the third Jurassic World movie.
And not in a little nod-to-the-fans cameo role, either, as team Old School will apparently feature prominently in the film. We got a smidge of Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but the other two haven’t appeared since Jurassic Park III.
By the end of Fallen Kingdom, dinosaurs had been set free to rampage across the USA, for dubious reasons involving animal rights, or something, with Dr. Malcolm declaring that humans and dinosaurs must now learn to coexist. That doesn’t seem to be going super-well, according to the short film, Battle at Big Rock.
Perhaps you are wondering why a bunch of clones appear to have more rights than the animals that are actually meant to exist in present-day? Perhaps you are thinking too hard about a film about cloned dinosaurs? I don’t even care how factually inaccurate and ridiculous all of it is, at this point, just don’t make anyone run away from the dinosaurs in high heels.
The third part of the Jurassic World series is set for release on 11 June 2021.
