The new season of Rick and Morty starts next month, Morty, you and me, Morty, new season dot com

Rick and Morty fans have been waiting two years for the follow-up to the infamous Pickle Rick season of the show, and at last it’s nearly here – the new, five-episode season premieres 10 November.

In the run up to the latest season of the dark, depressingly funny tale of a brilliant sociopathic scientist and his dull grandson, the announcement trailer features characters old and new – including a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpse of Glootie, the alien voiced by Thor: Ragnarok director and co-star Taika Waititi.

Although it’s five episodes for now, it’s possible – and even probable – that there’ll eventually be ten episodes overall. Justin Roiland, one of the show’s creators, stated that it’d be a ten-episode season a few months ago in an Entertainment Weekly interview. Either way, more Rick and Morty season is on its way and we can only hope that it’ll be as witty and zany as the last three seasons.
