Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is the latest installment in the Ghost in the Shell animated series that have seen various incarnations across the years. We don’t know much about it, yet, but it’s set in 2045, around 10 years after the previous Stand Alone Complex story line, and “global capitalism has defaulted” so Japan’s Section 9 is conducting covert cyber operations. Y’know, the usual. This time there seems to be more desert, though.
