South African indie games org Playtopia has two-upped with Make Games Africa for its second annual event at the Castle of Good Hope next month, promising “local and international indie games, eye melting interactive and digital art, and a killer music line-up”.
From 5-7 December, Playtopia MGA visitors can expect multiple interactive exhibits, including experimental games and a virtual art gallery, plus local scene regular Super Friendship Arcade’s “Punk Game Party”, and live music from Thor Rixen, Tommy Gun, Markus Wormstorm, and more.
The festival also features a schedule of discussions accessible with a special Delegate ticket, hosted by industry innovators and entrepreneurs like Mitu Khandaker (GlowUp Games), Kamina Vincent (Mountains Games), Johan Gjestland (Team Fugly), Evan Greenwood (Free Lives), and others. For more info about this, click out to the Playtopia MGA website.
Please note that Playtopia MGA is a strictly 18+ event, due to some of the content on display.
