Apex Legends recently received a major update that increased the level cap from 100 to 500, added a whole bunch of quality of life improvements, and fixed a number of bugs.
As part of the level cap increase, the in-game progression system has also been adjusted. The XP required to reach 100 has been reduced and you now earn Apex Packs as you level-up, starting out with a Pack per level and reducing in frequency post level 20. You’ll also get a new gun charm for every 100 levels.
The patch was initially delayed for console players, for mystery reasons, but is currently live across all platforms.
