Netflix appears to be doubling down on your love of He-Man, announcing a second Masters of the Universe animated series, separate from the Kevin Smith one. This time, it’s a reboot.

The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe reboot will be made using CG animation by House of Cool and CGCG (Trollhunters) and will probably be more family-friendly than the Masters of the Universe: Revelation anime that Smith is working on. Which means it’s also more likely to get a crossover with Netflix’s, super-popular, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
No release date for either series have been set, as yet.
If animation isn’t your thing, Netflix is also working on a live-action Masters of the Universe movie, starring Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) as He-Man… It’ll be out in March 2021.
