This isn’t a sequel to 2018’s Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, but it is a turn-based, tactical strategy game set in a dystopian future, developed by The Bearded Ladies. So…
CORRUPTION 2029 is set in our not-too-distant future (we’ve only got nine years, guys) where the CORRUPTION has overrun America with all manner of inhuman creatures and it’s your job, as a squad of heavily-augmented stealth “units”, to get out there and figure out where the CORRUPTION came from. Apparently, it’s a “hardcore tactical game that should test the mettle of even the most experienced tactical gamers”.
The Bearded Ladies found critical success with Mutant Year Zero, but CORRUPTION 2029 doesn’t look quite as interesting. Are you going to give it a go?
CORRUPTION 2029 will be available from the Epic Games Store from 17 February 2020. There’s no word, as yet, if it will make it to Steam, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 like Mutant Year Zero did.
