Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s new season starts, now with 100% more Rust and Ghost

Infinity Ward has opened engagement protocols on the game’s second season, re-introducing fan-favourite multiplayer map Rust and spec ops agent Simon “Ghost” Riley, plus new modes, new ranks, new ribbons, and new missions.

Besides Rust, other new maps include Atlas Superstore, Zhokov Boneyard, and Bazaar. One more, according to the game’s website, is expected to launch “mid-season”.

Al-Qatala agents have stolen a Soviet nuclear warhead and smuggled it into the city of Verdansk. Combined with previously obtained chemical gas, Al-Qatala is determined to cut off Verdansk from the rest of the world. On the brink of a global catastrophe, Captain Price sends in Ghost to track down the location of the warhead and lead key Operators before it’s too late.

Some of the content is free for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare owners, but you can skip the queue and unlock everything instantly with the purchase of the Season Two Battle Pass. It’s not cheating, it’s strategic economic policy.
