Cape Town studio The Brotherhood has confirmed that its isometric point-and-click-’em-up is finished, off to the printers, and out on 26 February.
Funded on Kickstarter in 2017, the game introduces a unique post-apocalyptic dystopia, mixing Afropunk sci-fi, retro-futurism, and family drama. Oooooh, and a robo-dog. You know you want a robo-dog. Who wouldn’t want a robo-dog? Unless it was a choice between a robo-dog and a robo-cat, maybe. I’m bad at decisions like that.
Explore a post-apocalyptic landscape, solve puzzles, meet new friends and make powerful enemies, mediate conflicts and fight for your life as you unravel the secrets of the world around you.
In the meantime, Beautiful Desolation is available to add to your wishlist on Steam and GOG.
I worked with The Brotherhood on its Stasis expansion, Cayne.
