Ubisoft Nadeo’s arcade racer Trackmania was meant to launch on 5 May, but has been delayed because the Paris-based development team had to transition to working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A remake of 2006’s Trackmania Nations, Trackmania focusses on letting players build their own unique tracks that can then be shared with others in the community; for maximum loop-de-loops, all day, every day.
For the competitive amongst you, Ubisoft will be regularly updating the game with daily and weekly casual cups, as well as official, ranked, seasonal campaigns. There will also be a Grand League and an Open Grand League held twice a year.
Trackmania is now due for release on 1 July 2020, for PC, on Ubisoft’s Uplay store and the Epic Games Store.
