Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game returns for the holidays

Announced at yesterday’s Ubisoft Forward livestream event, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is returning after potential licencing expiration issues led to it being removed from our hearts and minds (but mostly online stores) back in 2014.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a 2D, side-scrolling, beat ’em up based on the graphic novel series and movie of the same name. Featuring four-player local and online co-op, you must battle through the League of Seven Evil Exes, level up, and save true lesbians. Also – mini-games like Dodgeball and epic duels.

The game originally released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3, alongside the cult classic movie (which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, so feel old or something). However, it was delisted in 2014, potentially after the licensing expired, which meant it disappeared from the digital realm and could no longer be purchased anywhere.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is coming to PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia sometime around December 2020. The Complete Edition includes the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells DLC.
