Carling Black Label and Mettlestate Make Football Magic

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending a football event that was so epic that it rivalled the fan parks of the FIFA World Cup 2010. There was a vibe, a crowd, a thread of passion and support that connected every one of us, and it was magical.

Situated at Propaganda in Pretoria, Carling Black Label had donned the whole venue in black and gold, showcasing the pride of being the official beer sponsor for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. We were all there to back the Mamelodi Sundowns, facing off against the German team of Borussia Dortmund.

With our predictions locked in on the new Carling Black Label Score Predictor, a match prediction app that allows users to win a share of airtime bundles, and even tickets to watch the Champions of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 at their next home game, we prepared to support the Sundowns down to the very last second.

Propaganda was filled to the brim with shouts of support. A team of drummers entered the floor and banged away as if we were about to enter war. The energy was electric. Everyone watched the epic seven-goal match on the edge of their seats or primed on the tips of their toes.

Unfortunately, BVB took the win at the end four goals to three, but that didn’t mean the night was over. Oh no, far from it.

Now was the time for Mettlestate to shine. Having set up an epic eFootball station for anyone at Propaganda to game on, the night of scoring goals had just begun. The rules were simple: for every goal you scored in the game, you gained a point.

The winner? Well, the winner would walk away with R5,000, while players ranked from 2nd to 6th would earn themselves a sleek Carling Black Label Hamper.

The stage was set, and the game was on!

After a full night of exciting football all around, Ofentse Soulconquer snatched the top spot, walking away with that R5,000 prize.

While the Sundowns might not have walked away winners that night, everyone at Propaganda certainly did, whether it was Ofentse and his epic eFootball skills, or any one of us that got to experience the epic night set up by Carling Black Label and the Mettlestate team.
