Mallory Loar, confirmed mega-fan of all things Animal Crossing and also Discord’s community manager, was making her way towards the PAX East Discord booth when she came across the Animal Crossing: New Horizons setup and immediately burst into tears.

They were tears of joy and not due to some latent, raccoon-related PTSD, but still. You can see just what the offending booth looks like below:
PAX East takes place from 27 February to 1 March 2020.
So far, big names like Sony, CD Projekt Red, Square Enix, Capcom, and PUBG Corp. have either scaled back their appearances or cancelled their attendance entirely due to fears related to the spread of COVID-19 (the coronavirus).
CD Projekt Red never intended to show a Cyberpunk 2077 demo at PAX East, anyway, in case you thought you were missing out.
