In 2015, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the print magazine. The world was changing, and the gaming industry’s marketing spend largely moved online, away from physical media. We shifted our focus to the NAG website and social media, and over the next few years, built a large online community of over 400,000 gamers across all our platforms and communities.
Fast-forward to 2022, when the idea to relaunch the print magazine was kicked around at the office. After much planning and rounding up most of the original NAG team, we set to task. Today, we publish a few editions every year. NAG Magazine celebrates gaming in South Africa and is a time capsule that readers never throw out.
