Zipper T. Bunny is part of an Easter-themed Animal Crossing: New Horizons event that some players are finding both creepy and frustrating.
Zipper T. Bunny, is, what appears to be, a character in a cartoonish rabbit costume complete with back zipper, but will vehemently deny that he’s wearing a costume, will warn you off “snoopin” around about it, and will take offence at you looking at the obvious zipper on his back. Then there’s the trauma he’s causing the locals:

That “bunny’s” got secrets.
Moving on from the Five Nights at Freddy’s vibes, Zipper has also hidden a bunch of colourful eggs around the island for players to find, offering a special gift if you manage to craft each egg’s associated recipe. It all sounds lovely except the eggs have actually just replaced resources usually gathered by shaking trees (leaf eggs), hitting rocks (stone eggs), fishing (water eggs), popping balloons (sky eggs), digging up fossils (earth eggs), and hitting trees with an axe (wood eggs). Understandably, this has frustrated a number of players who just wanted to catch a damn fish.
Zipper T. Bunny will be hopping around New Horizons until 12 April, but will his dark machinations be revealed once Bunny Day is upon us? Or is he simply another victim of the capitalist system? We’ll just have to wait and see.
