Bad news, Five Nights at Freddy’s fans, the latest instalment in the animatronic nightmare-fest, Security Breach, is being delayed until some time later this year. Please accept this free arcade brawler as a token of appreciation for your ongoing patience.
Five Nights at Freddy’s series creator Scott Cawthon recently announced on Reddit that Security Breach has been delayed again to make sure players get the nightmare fuel they deserve.
As you all know, Security Breach was originally planned to come out at the end of 2020, but as we kept working on it and kept adding to it, it just kept getting bigger and bigger and needed more time to finish. And now, again, I’ve made the decision to put more time and money into it to make sure it’s finished properly, and that means a late 2021 release instead of an early 2021 release like I had originally wanted. It will be worth it!
However, he also shared a link to a free PC arcade brawler called Security Breach: Furry’s Fury’s Rage, that you can play right now if you need to get your feelings out. The game features some of the new characters from the upcoming FNAF: Security Breach, but in an entirely less creepy setting.
We last got a glimpse of FNAF: Security Breach gameplay during Sony’s State of Play February 2021 event. It’s basically the same concept as previous games, in that you play as an unfortunate security guard trying to survive the animatronic horrors that hunt you at every turn, just in a much larger arcade fun complex.
